It was Showtime in Chicago for the 3rd Annual JemCon on September 28, 29 & 30, 2007!
JemCon 2007: Showtime in Chicago was attended by almost 100 Jem™ fans from all over the world, including attendees from Holland and Scotland! The convention was held over September 28-30 in Chicago, and featured special guest Christy Marx, fan panels and workshops, displays which included rare prototypes and custom dolls, a catered Meet 'N Greet dinner, Jem™ Karaoke, and a fantastic Battle of the Bands Masquerade!
In addition, the JemCon 2007 Charity Auction raised over $1000 for The Harbour, which provides crisis care for adolescent girls and young women in the Chicago area.

JEMCON 2007 DESIGNATED CHARITY
JemCon 2007 is pleased to announce that Saturday evening's Charity auction raised $1,105 for The Harbour, a Chicago-area social service agency that provides emergency shelter and transitional living programs for adolescent girls in the north and northwest suburbs.
We would like to thank everyone who donated items for the auction, and thank all attendees for their generosity!
The Harbour offers:
- Emergency shelter and crisis intervention
- A safe and secure environment
- Counseling and links to community mental health services for youth and their families
- Reunification of families where possible
- Educational support
- Transitional Living services
- Group counseling
- Case management
- Training in independent living skills
- Independent Living services
- Employment support
- Economic assistance
- Assistance in accessing community resources
- Parenting skills training for parenting youth
- Three months of follow-up and after care

|The winning design in the JemCon 2007 Fashion Design Contest have been chosen! Congratulations to Jesse Ward, who designed the winning fashion.
The prototype fashion was created by Jemgirl, and is modelled here by a custom painted Stormer™ doll.
